A 12-year-old boy was seriously injured after a bicycle crash in a Sartell park on Sunday afternoon.
Sartell police say the 12-year-old was riding his bike down “Muskie Hill” at Northside Park when the crash occurred. A 10-year-old boy who was riding with him was able to call 911, and a bystander helped direct law enforcement to the scene of the accident, police said.
The bystander also happened to be a CPR instructor and relayed to police that the 12-year-old did not have a pulse and was not breathing, Sartell police said.
The boy was flown to Hennepin County Medical Center and had reportedly regained vital signs, police added.
