PSU President Ann Cudd addresses National Guard presence in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — National Guard troops have been mobilized by President Trump to come to Portland, just as classes resume at Oregon’s largest urban university.

Portland State University has an enrollment of just over 20,000 students, with 86% of the students from Oregon.

Founded in 1946, PSU is very much part of the conversation about Portland’s comeback, their motto being “Let knowledge serve the city.”

Portland State University president Ann Cudd returned to Eye On Northwest Politics, where she shared her message to university families and how PSU is hoping to change the Portland narrative.
