PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — There’s a relatively new grassroots activist organization that you may have heard about called “Indivisible.”

If there’s any question about where they stand on the political spectrum, their website says in bold letters, “IN AMERICA, WE DON’T DO KINGS,” then states that they are “standing up against authoritarianism.”

Indivisible was the major organizer of the nationwide “No

Kings Day” rallies this past summer.

Rep. Cliff Bentz (R-Ore.) also cites the organization for his decision to hold virtual town halls, instead of in-person. He claims the Indivisible group based in The Dalles disrupted his in-person appearances.

Marcia Schneider, leader of East Portland Indivisible, joined Eye on Northwest Politics to discuss their mission, as well as the group’s reaction to Rep. Bentz’s claims.
