SALT LAKE CITY (
ABC4) — Happy Sunday, Utah! After widespread rainfall for most of our Saturday across northern Utah, expect frost and freeze concerns for some Sunday morning.
The coverage and intensity will not be near the levels from Saturday morning but keep the rain gear handy for your plans.
Overnight lows will dipped into the mid to upper 30s for parts of the Uinta Basin, and in the low 30s for most of the Wasatch Back. This means frost and freeze concerns will be likely in this area by early Sunday morning. We will also see similar conditions for parts of central and SW Utah. A few isolated showers will continue across the northern half of the state with mountain snow showers still remaining possible.
The drier air arrives during the day on Sunday, and while most of us will be drying out, a few isolated showers will be possible north of I-80. The beginning of next week looks to remain on the cooler side of things, with plenty of sunshine in the area.
We are seeing signs that some deeper tropical moisture may try to return to Utah just in time for next weekend. If this occurs, more decent rainfall chances may invade Utah.
We’ll keep you posted on the latest developments in our 4Warn Weather forecast both on-air and online, we are Good4Utah!
