During a bustling homecoming weekend in Arkadelphia, the Tigers came out on top in a battle between Ouachita Baptist and Oklahoma Baptist. OBU earned their second win of the season after racking up 219 yards on the ground with Chris Henley, Jr. and Lyric Tredwell running for 59 yards a piece and tallying three touchdowns. Next week the Tigers look to even up their record on the road against Southern Nazarene.
Harding def. East Central 65-0

The No. 2-ranked Bisons marched into a battle atop the GAC standings and a collision between the top two defenses in the conference and took control immediately. Harding took a 37-0 lead into halftime and came out in the second half and continue to pound the rock. The Bisons racked up 475 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on the ground and their defense allowed a total of three rushing yards and 78 yards of total offense in the dominating victory.
Arkansas State def. Texas State 31-30

After a back-and-forth contest in Jonesboro, the Texas State Bobcats took a 30-24 lead with a minute left in the fourth quarter but missed the extra point, giving Arkansas State one last opportunity. QB Jaylen Raynor led the offense down to the four-yard-line with :10 seconds left and snuck in with a touchdown to tie the game at 30, with Clune Van Andel giving A-State the lead and sealing the win. Raynor finished the game with 248 passing yards, 92 rushing yards and four total touchdowns.
Central Arkansas def. Utah Tech 23-17

In a battle on the stripes in Conway, the Central Arkansas Bears and Utah Tech Trailblazers held each other scoreless in the first quarter before carrying a 10-10 lead into halftime. The Bears led 23-17 with roughly a minute left in the game when Jacoby McQuiller got an interception to seal the victory. QB Austin Myers threw for 223 yards, a touchdown and an interception in his first start while Landen Chambers ran for 108 yards and Chapman McKown added a touchdown on a pair of carries.
