NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Raymond Wells, the suspect in the homicide of Brennan’s Sous chef Carl Morgan, has died.
Morgan was shot and killed Tuesday, Sept. 30 while waiting to pick up his young son from daycare. Police accused 24-year-old Raymond Wells of shooting Morgan while trying to carjack him, then fleeing in the stolen car. He was found with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police are working to confirm if Wells shot himself. The incident remains under investigation.
