FNF Week 5: Hammond improves to 4-1 with 35-28 victory over Slidell Thursday night

SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) — The Hammond Tornadoes defeated the Slidell Tigers 35-28 on Thursday night at L.V. McGinty Sr. Stadium.

Hammond got up big, 21-7 early in the third, before Slidell cut their deficit to still hang around in the contest.

Hammond got the job done via air or on the ground, leaning on Zalen Bennett or Reginald Moore while the offense was pioneered from quarterback Terin Jones.
