
PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — Police responded to a deadly vehicle and pedestrian crash near F Street and East Allegheny Avenue late Thursday night.
Just after 11:50 p.m., police said a Philadelphia Fire Department medic unit was traveling eastbound on East Allegheny Avenue before making a right turn onto F Street when it hit a pedestrian.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, medics immediately called for help while administering emergency medical care.
When the second medic unit responded, it pronounced the victim dead just minutes later.
The victim has not yet been identified. The Philadelphia Police Department’s Crash Investigation Division is investigating the incident.
