MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. — An investigation is underway after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Morgan County.
According to Morgan County Sheriff Richard Myers, deputies responded to a fatal crash near SR 42 and Antioch Road, which closed all lanes in both directions for several hours on Friday afternoon. INDOT confirmed around 6:30 p.m. that the lanes had reopened.
Myers said preliminary information indicates an SUV pulled in front of a motorcycle as it was passing through the area. The male motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene following the crash.
No other information was immediately available.
