Daytime highs will be in the low 60s to low 70s on the coast, high 60s to low 70s around the bay, and in the low to mid 70s inland. Overnight lows will be mostly in the mid 50s.
Strong northwest winds will blow across the Bay Area on Friday, especially along the coast, in higher hills, and through the Salinas Valley, according to the NWS.
A few light showers may linger in the North Bay during the morning, but skies are expected to clear for most of the region by the afternoon as high pressure builds over the Pacific.
Warmer and drier weather is expected this weekend, with moderate offshore winds lasting into early next week, forecasters say.
