Man shot, killed outside Gentilly business Friday morning
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man is dead following a shooting in Gentilly early Friday morning, Oct. 3.
The New Orleans Police Department was called to the 4300 block of Louisa Drive around 2 a.m. for a disturbance in the area.
Responding officers arrived to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound. NOLA EMS pronounced him dead on the scene.
No further details are available at this time. The NOPD is in the process of gathering evidence and information to determine a possible suspect and motive.

The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the man’s identity after an autopsy is done and the family is notified.
