LaGrange police arrest man accused of embezzling over $200K from church business account

LaGRANGE, Ga. (WRBL) — The LaGrange Police Department announced that the man who was accused of felony theft after embezzling money from a church was taken into custody.

According to the LaGrange police, officers were searching for Howard Lester, who is accused of embezzling over $200,000 from a church’s business account.

Lester also faces another felony charge for depriving a customer of over $6,000 while he was employed at Floors on Commerce.
