Gun, drugs, seized from Porterville felon, police say
PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Porterville felon was rearrested Wednesday after officers say they found him with drugs and a loaded gun.

Police pulled up to 22-year-old Eric Camacho’s apartment on the 200 Block of West Willow Avenue around 3 p.m.

Outside, they found Camacho, who they say was concealing a loaded semi-automatic handgun. According to officers, Camacho is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition.

After making their way inside, police say they found additional incriminating evidence, including cocaine and Xanax pills, along with evidence of narcotics sales.

Camacho was arrested and later booked at Tulare County’s South County Detention Facility in lieu of a $50,000 bail.
