ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Police say a man was shot late Friday night in Rockford.
According to Rockford Police, the shooting happened prior to 11 p.m. in the 500 block of Locust Street.
Authorities did not provide the circumstances of the shooting or announce any arrests.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and is said to be in critical condition.
