ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A total of four people, including three teenagers, have been arrested after a shooting in broad daylight led to the discovery of drugs and guns in Anne Arundel County.

It all started on July 7, when officers with the Anne Arundel County Police Department were called to the 8100 block of Meade Village Road to investigate a destruction of property complaint.

While on the scene, police discovered multiple homes had been struck by gunfire along Meade Village Road and Meade Village Circle. Two residents were identified as suspects and search warrants were obtained for addresses in the Severn area.

Months later, on Sept. 23, detectives searched both homes and found multiple guns, ammunition and drugs.

During the investigation, one 15-year-old boy was located, and another was cited for various drug charges. Police learned that a third 15-year-old boy was allegedly involved in the shooting and was already in custody for a separate shooting that took place in June.

Three days later, on Sept. 26, a fourth person was located and arrested in Hanover in connection with the shooting.

Police noted that three 15-year-old boys and 25-year-old Darren Raul Donastorg were all charged. One of the teen boys was charged as an adult.

According to the Anne Arundel County police, the following items were discovered during the searches:

  • 221 Suboxone strips
  • 16.99g MDMA pills
  • 1.78g Powder MDMA
  • 63.75g Cannabis 
  • Glock 48 9mm handgun
  • Polymer 80 9mm handgun
