Accused meth, marijuana dealer arrested in West Baton Rouge Parish
WBRSO said Garrett Taylor, 56, known by the nickname “Jamaica,” was the target of a weeks-long investigation. Undercover agents reportedly bought methamphetamine and marijuana from Taylor on multiple occasions.
Taylor was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 1, after deputies obtained an arrest warrant. WBRSO said a search of his home turned up more than 45 grams of methamphetamine, over 50 grams of marijuana, and more than 10 grams of psilocybin mushrooms.
He was booked into the West Baton Rouge Parish Detention Center on several charges, including:
Taylor’s bond has been set at $375,000. He remains in custody.
