Woman arrested, accused of shooting at Zachary apartment complex
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Zachary woman was arrested after a reported shooting on Wednesday.
According to arrest records, officers with the Zachary Police Department were called to an apartment complex in the 20,000 block of Old Scenic Highway around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday about a disturbance.
Destiny Piper, 30, was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of attempted second-degree murder and simple criminal damage to property. A bond has not yet been set, according to jail records.
