This is the last year for Wayne-Sanderson Farms to be the main title sponsor for the tournament. An announcement was made during last year’s championship that Sanderson Farms would extend their sponsorship for 2025.
Although the remain committed to supporting the tournament and its charities, Sanderson Farms Championship Executive Director Steve Jent is hopeful that they can make an announcement soon about the future of the event.
“We hope to be here, and we hope, again, they’re going to, Wayne-Sanderson Farms, is still going to be a partner from a charity standpoint. We’re just looking for that person to take on the lead role,” he said.
WJTV 12 News asked Jent if any company has expressed interest in taking over as the title sponsor. He said multiple conversations took place, but there is no official announcement.
