Students evacuated from BMO Center due to power outage on IceHogs’ school game day
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Students visiting the BMO Center in downtown Rockford for an IceHogs game were evacuated from the building Thursday afternoon due to a power outage.
“There is no emergency in the building. This is a precaution. Staff and safety officials are assisting and we will share updates as soon as possible,” the BMO Center said on Facebook.
The IceHogs were facing off against the Chicago Wolves, and were well into the second period of the game when the outage occurred.
