According to the Boone County Fire District 2, responding crews found one person trapped inside a vehicle after the collision on Genoa Road near Cahoon Road.
Authorities said the victim was removed from the car in 15 minutes after first responders arrived on the scene, and was flown to a hospital.
The operator of the combine was uninjured in the crash, officials said.
“As harvest season is underway, we remind the public to remain alert and cautious on the roadways. Large farm equipment will be traveling between fields, and patience and attentiveness are critical to keeping our community safe,” Fire Chief Jay Diebold said.
