Meet her at Midnight: Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl local release events

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4) — Taylor Swift is officially in her Showgirl Era. For all Taylor Swift ‘Lovers’ out there, Target is celebrating by throwing an album release party for Swift’s new The Life of a Showgirl album.

Nearly 500 Target stores across the nation will stay open late for a midnight release celebration, including these select Utah stores.

Target is looking forward to being the ‘Lucky One’ to sell exclusive vinyl and CD editions. ‘Long lived’ and new Taylor fans alike can shop Target exclusives including a recently released Target-exclusive vinyl of The Life of a Showgirl: The Crowd Is Your King Edition (Summertime Spritz Pink Shimmer Vinyl) with a giant double-sided poster included. The full Target The Life of a Showgirl collection can be purchased now online.

Starting at 10 p.m on October 2, shoppers can ‘levitate down your street‘ to begin lining up on The Outside for a physical or digital ticket to reserve products for purchase.

Once Bejeweled with a ticket, shoppers can continue to shop in the electronics section and return to the designated queuing location at 11:45 p.m. to make a midnight purchase.

The Life of a Showgirl assortment, including Swift’s full discography, will be available in Target stores and online on October 3^. Standard vinyl can only be purchased online. Due to high demand for this sick beat, there is a purchase limit of four per item per customer while supplies last.  

In addition to Target’s celebrations, local Cinemark and Megaplex theaters are hosting an exclusive viewing of Taylor Swift Official Release Party of a Showgirl. This release will only be in theaters October 3-5, so it’s time to go. Fans can expect to see the world premiere of The Fate of Ophelia along with behind the scenes footage, new lyric videos, and Taylor’s personal reflections on songs from her latest album.
