John Catanzara temporarily steps down from state police union board
CHICAGO (WGN) — The head of the Chicago police union says he is taking a leave of absence from his post as vice president of the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police.
John Catanzara said he made the decision but wouldn’t reveal the reason, beyond calling it a “political witch hunt” by people who want his seat.
