
CHICAGO (WGN) – Chicago police are investigating a homicide on the Far South Side Wednesday morning.
Police said at around 7:45 a.m., a 43-year-old man was found unresponsive outside in the 10000 block of South Avenue N in the city’s East Side neighborhood.
The man was found with lacerations to his neck and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to investigators.
Police said detectives are speaking to a person of interest and the investigation is classified as a homicide.
No other information was released.
