Driver trapped after cement truck rollover in Abilene Wednesday afternoon

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A driver was left trapped after a rollover crash involving a cement truck on Wednesday afternoon in Abilene.

Around 3:45 p.m., crews responded to E. Overland Trail and Musgrave Boulevard, where they found the truck overturned with the driver trapped inside. Firefighters removed the roof of the cab to free the driver, who was then transported for medical care.

Hazmat crews were called to contain a spill of fuel, hydraulic fluid, oil, and cement. The driver’s condition remains unknown at this time.
