In Salisbury, a hometown favorite landed in the top five of the medium business category: Cheerwine, the beloved cherry soda that’s been bottled in the city since 1917, finished fourth.
The NC Chamber’s “Coolest Thing Made in NC” contest, now in its fifth year, celebrates innovation in manufacturing, from small-town artisans to large-scale industrial players.
This year’s winners were:

- Medium Business Winner: World Cat Boats, Powered Catamaran Boats
- Small Business Winner: Ordway Glass Company, Custom Stained Glass
