The 44th annual Health Fair and Expo returns Wednesday to The Sheid on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) from 9 to 4. Presented by Baxter Health and KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, the event is free to attend and brings together more than 75 health professionals, wellness vendors and community members for a day of learning and health screenings.
A new initiative this year features live interviews with local healthcare providers on the Farmer’s and Merchants Bank Stage at the center of the fair, giving attendees the opportunity to meet the doctors and ask questions afterward. The interviews will be broadcast live throughout the day on KTLO FM 97.9 and will be available for viewing after the event on Baxter Health’s website and on YouTube at KTLOStreaming.
Free shuttle service from the parking lots will be provided by Ultimate Auto Group for visitors. The Sheid is located at the west end of the ASUMH campus in Mountain Home.
