Arkansas high school in the running for a $1 million grand prize: How to vote

DIERKS, Ark. – A west Arkansas high school is in the running to win a $1 million prize and needs votes to succeed.

Dierks High School in western Arkansas is one of the 25 finalists in the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights competition, which runs through Oct. 30. Other schools on the list are from as far away as California, Washington, Minnesota, and New England.

Dierks is the only Arkansas school on the list.

The winning school is the one that receives the most votes on the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights page. Voters can submit their vote once a day using their email address through Oct. 24.

The school with the most votes wins. Schools gain extra points through social media challenges.

Participants are encouraged not only to vote but also to share their support so that others can vote for this Arkansas school to win the prize.

The winner will be announced on Oct. 30.
