Shreve Memorial Library hosts Medicare seminar for seniors

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — On October 4 at 10 a.m., Shreve Memorial Library Hamilton/South Caddo Branch is hosting a free seminar on Medicare rights and options for seniors.

Local insurance agencies RK Buchanan & Co. and Watley Insurance Group are partnering for the seminar.

Medicare is health insurance for people age 65 and older. It can be a confusing system to navigate.

Seniors will have the opportunity to speak with Rachel Buchanan of RK Buchanan & Co. to discuss their rights and available options.
