Multiple agencies, including the Jerome Police Department, Jerome County Sheriff’s Office, Magic Valley Paramedics, Jerome Rural Fire Department, and Idaho State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday, September 30 at 9:34 p.m. in Jerome County.
Reportedly, a 56-year-old male was travelling south on US-93 with a 51-year-old male passenger in a 2015 Ram 2500 pickup. A 46-year-old female was travelling north on US-93 in a 2022 Subaru Crosstrek.
Idaho State Police said that the two vehicles collided head-on near the intersection of US93 and E 200 North, though they have not stated how the collision occurred.
The passenger of the Ram was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital and law enforcement did not disclose their condition. The driver of the Crosstrek was also injured but succumbed to their injuries on scene.
Reportedly, the driver and passenger of the Ram were both wearing their seatbelts. The Crosstrek driver was not.
