London man arrested after allegedly assaulting woman in her apartment

LONDON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A London man is arrested for assault after reportedly forcing his way into a woman’s apartment.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said 50-year-old Corey Posey was arrested Tuesday at an apartment complex in southern Laurel County.

LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

Posey reportedly forced his way inside a woman’s apartment, threatening the woman and striking her in the back of the head and neck.

He was charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault, second-degree terroristic threatening, and second-degree criminal mischief.
