Delta Center to debut one-of-a-kind seating system and new fan offerings

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — As phase one of the Delta Center transformation wraps up, Smith Entertainment Group (SEG) prepares to welcome back fans with a one-of-a-kind riser seating system for Utah Mammoth games.

SEG stated that the riser seating system aims to enhance sightlines and increase capacity while maintaining close-to-the-action seating at Utah Jazz games. There is a 12-foot variance in elevation between rink and court end lines.

More than 1,100 new lower-bowl seats have been added for Utah Mammoth games, increasing the full view capacity to 12,478 seats.

SEG said that phase one also included the complete remodel of Black Desert Club, located on Level 2, and the start of construction on a 450-stall parking structure. The parking structure is set to be finished before the 2026-27 season.

New food and beverages

SEG also shared the new food and beverage options that will be available at the Delta Center.

Salt City Honey House will have a Utah Jazz note-shaped Banbury Cross Donut, a Mammoth ice cream sundae, house-made pastries, waffle cones, and Nothing Bundt Cakes.

Dangerous Pretzels will sell a Mammoth-size pretzel along with a variety of other flavored pretzels.

Proper Burger will offer the new Jazz Jam Burger, with onion jam and blue cheese, and the Hat Trick Burger, with American cheese, BBQ sauce, candied bacon, pickled jalapenos, and fried onion straws.

Totally Nuts will have an all-new Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth almond mix, and a Utah Jazz variety mix with lemon cream almonds and cinnamon almonds.

San Diablo Churros will introduce an all-new Tusks Up churro flavor.

Retail partnerships and deals

In May, SEG announced a new partnership with Fanatics. SEG said that the partnership will provide fans with access to brands such as Fanatics, Nike, New Era, Mitchell & Ness, ’47, and WinCraft.

Additionally, SEG said that American Express cardholders will receive 10% off every in-person purchase they make at the Team Store inside Delta Center, per specific terms and conditions.

More information on the arena renovation can be found on the Delta Center website.
