Uptown Minneapolis is losing a popular craft brewhouse.
LynLake Brewery announced on social media Monday that it will close its doors for good at the end of this week.
Located in the heart of the city’s Lyn-Lake neighborhood and in the old Lyndale Theater building, the brewery offered a unique feel in addition to its craft beer, “Oakie-style” burgers and other food, and music.
After 11 years, though, the brewery is going out of business. No reason for the closure was stated.
“If you have any photos of you at the brewery feel free to DM them to us as we will be posting photos of our time together throughout the years,” LynLake Brewery wrote in its social media post. “We love you Minneapolis.”
The brewery’s last day will be Sunday.
