GAITHERSBURG, Md. (DC News Now) — The driver in a Sept. 23 fatal hit-and-run in Wheaton was found, Montgomery County police said.
The crash caused the death of 52-year-old Ganga Prajapati.
On Friday, Sept. 26, investigators with the Collision Reconstruction Unit located the suspect vehicle and driver in Laurel.
The vehicle, a silver 2012 Audi A4, showed a cracked window and busted front right headlight. The driver was located, and charges are pending further investigation.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation.
