The event, held on Monday nights, allows guests to bring their dogs to the patio while enjoying beverages, with $1 from every Tito’s Vodka drink sold going to the shelter.
“We’re really thankful to Tito’s for helping us make a $6,000 donation to Noah’s Ark this year,” said Zack Rotello, general manager of The Olympic Tavern.
The ‘Pints-for-Pups’ series has been a staple at The Olympic Tavern for over 15 years, providing a unique opportunity for dog owners and dog lovers to gather. “Monday kind of became our doggy night on the patio,” Rotello explained.
In addition to the regular festivities, the evening featured a special menu for dogs and a photoshoot opportunity for pets.
Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter benefits from these events, which help raise funds and awareness for their cause. The shelter also brought some dogs available for adoption to the event.
The Olympic Tavern, located at the corner of North Main Street and Fulton Avenue, has been serving the Rockford community for 80 years. The tavern plans to continue hosting ‘Pints-for-Pups’ on Mondays until the weather becomes too cold.
