KOKOMO, Ind. — The Kokomo Police Department is searching for a missing 57-year-old.

According to a KPD Facebook post, Mark Rogers of Kokomo first went missing on Sept. 9. A formal missing persons report regarding Rogers was filed with KPD on Sept. 18.

Police described Rogers as a 5-foot-11, 140-pound, brown-haired, blue-eyed man.

KPD indicated that Rogers has been spotted multiple times since he first went missing. Despite the sightings, police have not been able formally locate Rogers.

Police reported that Rogers has been known to take long walks and wander around parts of Kokomo. KPD indicated that the amount of time that has been passed since Rogers was last spotted, however, is abnormal.

According to KPD, Rogers was wearing a dark-colored long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, dark-colored hiking boots and a camouflage backpack when he was last spotted. Police believe Rogers also had two fishing poles with him when he was last seen.

KPD reported that Rogers “is known to have an extensive medical history.” Police did not provide any additional details on the medical conditions Rogers suffers from.

Investigators are encouraging those with information on Rogers’ whereabouts to contact KPD at (765) 456-7017.

As of this article’s publication, no additional information on Rogers’ disappearance had been made available.
