Despite the dominating first half for the Eagles, this game quickly turned into a tale of two halves. Philadelphia racked up over 200 yards of offense in the first half while only accounting for minus-one yard in the second. However, as many players expressed after this week four victory, a win is a win.
“Didn’t quit,” Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts said. “Found a way. Played very well situationally to an extent. Obviously a lot we can improve from, but it’s always good to get a win, and they don’t come easy. You’ve got to go out there and earn it, and we did.”
“Getting out of here with the win, we’re gonna enjoy it and we’re gonna clean up what we need to clean up and hopefully be better because of it,” Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert said.
“Winning games down in Tampa is a big deal because we haven’t,” Eagles offensive tackle Jordan Mailata said. “We haven’t won games, we’ve been humiliated. We’ve been on that side of the ball, so this is a plus for me.”
The Eagles are now 4-0 for the third time in the last four years. They are also one of the two only undefeated teams remaining in the NFL, along with the Buffalo Bills.
The Birds will now look to stay perfect on Sunday when they host the Denver Broncos at Lincoln Financial Field at 1 p.m.
