According to police, Alexander Kluball, 35, of Beloit, barricaded himself in a vehicle in the parking lot of a Park N Ride at 11067 N. Goede Street in Newville around 1 a.m.
Police said Kluball had an active felony warrant for burglary.
Hostage negotiators, a drone team, and a K9 team were also called to the scene, police said.
Authorities said after several hours of communication, “tactical force” was used to take Kluball into custody.
He suffered minor injuries in the incident and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
In addition to the warrant, police said Kluball will face additional charges for the incident.
