‘Disoriented’ woman jumps on taxiing US military plane at Portland International Airport

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman was taken into custody after officials said she jumped onto a military cargo plane as it was taxiing at Portland International Airport Saturday afternoon.

According to the Port of Portland, a U.S. Air Force C-130 had landed just before 3:30 p.m. and was on its way to Atlantic Aviation when a woman ran into the taxiway.

Officials said the woman was detained by military personnel who then told responding Port of Portland police officers she “appeared disoriented and alone.”

The woman, identified as 30-year-old Adalaide Stone, was taken to the Multnomah County Jail.

Stone was booked on charges of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree criminal trespassing.
