Victim’s property stolen after being dragged from vehicle in Anne Arundel County
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — The Anne Arundel County Police Department (AACPD) is investigating a Thursday night carjacking.

Around 11:30 p.m., on Sept. 25, police responded to reports of a carjacking in the 1700 block of Poplar Ridge Road. The initial investigation revealed the victim was parked in his blue 2010 Infiniti with a woman when two unknown individuals dragged him from his car.

One of the suspects was armed with a firearm and struck the subject in the back of the head and stole his personal property, according to police. Both suspects then got into the victim’s vehicle and fled the area with the woman.

Police said the woman is suspected of having been an accomplice. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle or the suspects.
