Driver crashes into home in Plainfield

PLAINFIELD, Ind. — A driver crashed into a home in Plainfield late Friday night.

According to a Facebook post from Brownsburg Fire Territory, around 10 p.m., crews received a report that indicated a driver crashed into a residential home in Plainfield. When first responders arrived at the scene, they found a home that had sustained heavy damage.

Brownsburg Fire Territory, which was called to the scene to assist Plainfield Fire Territory, constructed and applied T-Shores to temporarily support the structure of the home. BFT indicated the shores were “essential in preventing further collapse and ensuring the safety of both responders and occupants.”

Neither BFT nor PFT have provided any additional details on the crash or its cause. It is currently unclear if anybody was injured during the crash.
