Wanted: Louisiana police suspect victim’s sister after nearly $20K stolen via Cash App

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Shreveport Police Department is searching for a woman in relation to a fraud investigation regarding her brother.

In early 2025, Melissa Coates allegedly used her brother’s card to make a series of unauthorized transactions. Detectives discovered that most of the transactions were through Cash App and totaled approximately $20,000.
