Southern end of Coalville Main Street closed due to active barricade situation

COALVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — The Summit County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) has closed off the southern end of Main Street in Coalville due to an “active barricade situation.”
According to Sgt. Skyler Talbot with SCSO, deputies are on scene in Coalville, “actively negotiating to try to reach a peaceful resolution,” with a suspect barricaded inside their home.
No further information will be released at this time as this is an active, ongoing situation.
