Pineville drivers advised to be cautious amid downtown demolition
According to the Pineville Police Department, sections of East Shamrock Street and Main Street will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sept. 27 to allow demolition crews to safely tear down the old Red River Rarities building.
Officials urged motorists to use caution in the area, follow detour signs, and allow extra travel time.
“We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work to keep both workers and drivers safe,” the department said in a statement.
