Peabody High homecoming prompts road closures, parking limits
According to the City of Alexandria, Jones Avenue from Broadway Avenue to University Street will be closed to all vehicle traffic from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to allow for pedestrian movement during the event.
Parking will also be prohibited along Jones Avenue between Broadway Avenue and University Street and along University Street between Jones Avenue and the Sandy Bayou Bridge.
Tailgating parking will be available behind W.O. Hall Elementary, accessible from University Street. However, vehicle parking will not be allowed within designated tailgating spaces.
