Officials said that the investigation into Jessup began in July after they reportedly received a complaint. The complaint alleged that a man, later identified as Jessup, was distributing child sex abuse material.

When law enforcement searched Jessup’s home, ISP officials said that multiple electronic devices were seized, all of which allegedly contained child sex abuse material. Jessup was taken into custody without incident on Wednesday.

ISP officials said that Jessup was transported and remanded at the Miami County Jail. The case remains active and ongoing.

According to court documents, Jessup’s legal team appeared in Miami County court on Thursday in relation to this case.
