
Downtown Los Angeles, which hit 92 degrees earlier in the week, will see high temperatures only in the mid-70s from Friday through next Wednesday. Inland valleys and the Inland Empire will be in the low-to-mid 80s.
Isolated storms are possible throughout the day on Saturday.
The Weather Service says hourly rain rates could reach a half inch to three-quarters of an inch over the Ventura and Los Angeles County mountains.
“This means that there is a low but present threat of flash flooding and burn scar debris flows if the heaviest cell forms over a vulnerable area,” NWS said.
