(WHTM)– A new mini-series exploring the death of Pennsylvanian Ellen Greenburg is coming to streaming on Hulu and Disney+ at the end of the month.

The new series, titled “Death in Apartment 603: What Happened to Ellen Greenburg?”, is set to premiere on streaming Monday, September 29. According to IMDb, the series will release all three episodes on its scheduled release date.

The series will dive into the ongoing case of Ellen Greenburg’s death and the debate surrounding it.

Greenburg’s 2011 death has become a topic of public interest after the cause of her death was changed from a suicide to homicide and back multiple times, with many, including Greenburg’s family, insisting she was murdered.

The 27-year-old was found in her apartment on January 26, 2011, with a knife in her chest and 20 stab wounds, including 10 on her back and neck. Police said they found no sign of forced entry into the home, no sign of struggle from Greenburg, and ultimately ruled it a suicide.

A medical examiner would later rule the death a homicide before reversing it to a suicide.

The investigation into her death was reopened earlier this year after the medical examiner who initially reviewed the case announced he believes her death being labeled as a suicide is inaccurate.
