Crime Reports: Controlled substance cases dominate Abilene arrests

Incidents 

N 3rd Street and Mockingbird Lane – Hit-and-Run

1200 block of Yeomans Road – Assault, Theft of Property
A washer and dryer were reported stolen. 

700 block of Kenwood Drive – Theft of Motor Vehicle 
A trailer was reported stolen.

4500 block of S 1st Street – Indecent Assault

1300 block of N Mockingbird Lane – Theft of Property, Fraud, Theft of Property
Cash and other money was reported stolen via fraud.

1600 block of Woodard Street – Burglary of Building
A victim reported a lawn mower was taken from his shed. 

2600 block of S 27th Street – Assault
A report for assault was taken.

1100 block of N 1st Street – Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Controlled Substance, Resist Arrest 

4200 block of Woods Place – Assault 
A report for assault was taken in south Abilene. 

N 18th Street and Fannin Street – Possession of Controlled Substance 

4000 block of Carrera Lane – Assault Family Violence 
A report for assault family violence was completed in south Abilene. 

N 12th Street and Westview Drive – Possession of Controlled Substance, Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence x2, Possession of Controlled Substance
