Brandon police investigate series of car break-ins

BRANDON, Miss. (WJTV) – Brandon police are investigating a series of auto burglaries in several subdivisions.

According to officials, the auto burglaries occurred in the Belle Oak, Bella Vista and Grandeur subdivisions. They said the suspects are targeting unlocked vehicles and have stolen firearms and electronics.

Residents are encouraged to lock their vehicles at at times and remove firearms, electronics and other valuables from their vehicles.

Officials also encouraged residents to check their home video surveillance systems for any suspicious activity or video of suspects in the area between the late night hours of September 25 and the early morning of September 26, 2025.
