Storms enter the area; Another round of rain for Friday night
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- The rain is here! We are tracking showers and storms for your Thursday evening, and a few have been strong. These will continue until late this evening. Behind this round of storms, be ready for areas of fog for your Friday morning commute.

Friday: Keep the rain gear on hand Friday! The rain chances will back off slightly for Friday Night Football. Isolated showers and storms are set to develop tomorrow afternoon. Plus, temperatures will stay cool, only getting into the 80s.

Weekend: We will have one last chance for rain on Saturday, only a few pop-up showers are possible. Clouds will continue to decrease throughout the weekend, leaving us with plenty of sunshine by Sunday.

Next Week: Temperatures are set to sit in the low to mid-80s next week. Our rain chances will depend on the tropics. We will not have any local impacts from these storms, but we may see a better chance of rain depending on what soon-to-be Imelda does next week.
